Madhuri Dixit was born on 15 May 1967. She is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi films. Dixit has won five Filmfare Awards, four for Best Actress and one for Best Supporting Actress. In 2008, she was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth-highest civilian award by the Government of India. She is married to Dr Shriram Madhav Nene, with whom she has two children. The couple resided in the United States, before moving to India in 2011. Her box-office hits films are Dil (1990), Saajan (1991), Beta (1992), Hum Aapke Hain Kaun...!, Dil to Pagal Hai, Lajja, Devdas and Raja.
