Vidya Balan was born on 1 January 1978). She is an Indian actress, who acts in Hindi films. She started her career starring in music videos, television shows and commercials, before appearing in feature films. Her first film was Bhalo Theko which was Bengali film. She later made her Hindi film debut with Parineeta (2005), which earned her a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut as well as her first Best Actress nomination at the same ceremony. Later she appeared in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, Guru, Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiya. No One Killed Jessica and The Dirty Picture are her new films. “The Dirty Picture” has made a clean sweep at the box office. According to a report, Vidya went to a theatre covered up in a burqa to conceal her identity just to witness the audience’s reaction to her performance.
